in trying to wean myself off the algorithim and connect in a more honest space
Friends! I am really trying to solve a problem here. I want those of you who would like to know when and where I am playing or releasing new music to be able to access that information without the choking interference of the algorithim and it’s overlords, and without me having to pay for/maintain a mailing list that goes straight to your spam folder.
I wonder if this might be the place?

I will do my best to keep it interesting and sporadic. I’m hoping this space will be somewhere between a newsletter/mailing list/ social media feed, as well as a space I can expand on thoughts about music and share images and videos. I have some big news to share in due time about a project I’ve been working on for the last 18 months and I’m looking forward to unveiling more on that soon…
In the meantime please enjoy this little movie I made today walking home in Mexico City (where I spend much of my winters over the past many years). This little cat reminds me of the value of keeping our eyes focused above the daily fray. May we each find both the freedom to wander and the warmth of home we seek.
